A.K.A- One of the Greatest Sports Years Ever/The Year of the Vampire

I decided to make a post of every major thing that happened in 2008. 100% written by me.

 

  • Feburary 3rd: NY Giants won Superbowl XLII by 3 points

 

  • March 1st: I started using WordPress

 

  • July 29th: this blog was created!

 

  • August 8th- August 24th- 2008 Beijing Olympics started
    Official logo of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games 

- China got 51 gold medals with a total of 100 medals overall

-USA got 36 gold medals with a total of 110 medals overall

- Russia got 23 gold medals with a total of 72 medals overall

 

  • September- Back to School :(

 

  • October 31st- Halloween!!!

 

  • November 4th- election day. Barack Obama is announced next President of the United States of America

 

  • December 25th- Christmas :D

  • December 31st- New Years Eve

 

 

         Over 1 MILLION people are expected to show up in Times Square this year!!

    pinkey2we: ummm…..yes, it does, but this year they expected over 1 MILLION people to show up @ Times Square!!!! And yes, the timeline is short but I couldnt think of a lot. BTW- srry I dont post much on LUHY, I’ll try to post more :D That’ll be part of my New Years resolution :) Have a great 2009 :D
